Yep, yep, I know. Taking too long to post my 1493... Here it is, along with the link to a thread with a whole bunch of detail for those who are interested in learning more about it: https://goccf.com/t/255282

Quote: Yep, yep, I know. Taking too long to post my 1493... Sorry if I it seemed like I was getting a little impatient. Okay, maybe I was. Thank you for posting! The rules say we cannot post 1492 until tomorrow (after midnight anyway), but I might just look the other way if you or Petrus were to go a little early. It is not like another 1493 will show up today. Or will it?

Sounds fair. It would be really cool if another 1493 appeared. I am not holding my breath though.

Excellent! We have now reached a milestone! However, given the one year per day rule, I cannot change the title until tomorrow, which means the original HFBCWG? thread will remain open for one last chance at 1491.

The original thread has been closed. Thanks to everyone who had participated in it. The bar has been set. How far back will this thread go before the Third Edition catches up?

It's too sad the the first, original, thread has been closed I've been waiting a few years to post my 1481 coin, which is next, and the last, in line from my part. Hopefully I will be able to post it here!

I hope so, too. We just need ten coins.

I have a 1489 and 1488 and I remember someone recently said they had a coin from a year in the 1480's(I can't remember which one). If that is the case 3 of the years are covered. I just checked and it was 1482.

I'm expecting that it will be some time before we get a 1491 and so I thought that I'd post a second 1492 dated coin. I'm feeling a little lazy this evening so I photographed it inside the 2x2--I apologize for the slight blurriness and glare. The coin is a half schwertgroschen from Saxony (Frieburg mint). The obv legend is FA*H*D*G*DVCS*SAX*TL*LA*HA*HIS and the rev legend is GROSSVS*NOVVS*DVCVH*SAXONI*92. The attribution is Levinson I-290.
