Decided to get a box of pennies this past week...My first box ever.
Got-My-First-LMC-Brick
So far nothing overly spectacular with just under half the box searched.
loads of 70's copper small handful of 82's
1 wheatie from the 40's and one Canadian cent.
Not a single 09 to be seen
But the bucket load of scrap 80's 90's and 2000's that will find there way back into circulation is staggering.

Nice, taking your CRH operation to the next level. I recently switched to whole penny boxes in the past few months. Happy hunting!

Wow, the lid of that box is fancy.

All my local banks have a trust-based relationship when it comes to coin rolls... I usually just pass the ubiquitous rolls of 49 on

Looks like you are having fun.

For a while, it seemed like the 1970's copper was plentiful in my change. Not so much lately.

I found another Canadian penny. Now I have one with the king and one with the queen.
Four more wheat and several 59's
I also found some nice pennies to fill some later date spots in the book.
Now, what to do with the rest of the 60/70's copper.
I will search them out a bit more intently and keep the uncs.
It's not like I can take the to the scrap yard and cash them in. (10.00 face is worth 20.00 scrap)

I see copper! A few bright MS coins possibly too. This would be a good time to start a BU roll set collection. I wish I would have started sooner on mine!

Nice finds so far! That is what my first box of cents was like. Trust me, it gets better.
