@shopaholic, thanks for great pic. Sorry to hear you have a tiny flaw. Is the tiny bubble visible under the naked eye or under magnification?

@coinhooked: I would say it is not very noticeable unless I tell you where to look.. but now since I know where the bubble is, it is all that I can see. I think I will let the coin sit there for a few days, and see if I can look pass this flaw. I don't really want to return the coin for exchange, worried that I might get a worse one.

The compass detailing really makes the coin IMHO.

Yesterday was a "Lake Superior coin" day. Seems to me that many of us got it.
Here some my additional observation: Aldo bit dissapointed by not really raised land. Liked the Bathymetry - clearly I can see the depth. Like coin in overall.
Didn't see initials of the Designer on the coin
COA - so it really just a COA - no word about some details or story. I hope, that the subscription case will have some additional card with details and explanation. If this the case - so what with the single coins?
And I got "round" COA number of #1900

Do everyone receive the coin with clamshell case on subscription order?

Ya Marty some of the NCLT are scary under the scope,if your not happy with it then you should return it, but there is no guarantee that the next one wont have some other "defect" only seen by a scope.

I dont really agree with you there silveriod , if we are paying a large premiun for a "new" coin, it should as near defect/blemish free as possible even under a scope, but like I said some NCLT are not scope friendly ... but if your happy with it and it passes the naked eye test then I guess you should keep it. That said I don't scope all mine , just the ones that are suspect to me or are made of gold...I just have to put it under the scope if I am paying $600 or more for a coin.

My GL coin came this morning.I noticed a few scratches on the enamel under the scope but since it is not noticeable to the naked eye and I do not intend on selling it I am keeping it.Not worth sending it back. All in all I like it.
