It's a jeton, a counter or gaming piece. Could be a Nuremberg orb jeton because it looks like Krauwinkel on the reverse and that family were famous jeton makers.

Definitely a Nuremberg jeton of Hanns Krauwinckel. I'll look for another rose ad orb variety with the same legend.

Looks like VERBVM DOMINI MANET IN ETERN (the word of God remains eternal), except old Hanns forgot the B on this one. I wonder how rare that makes this one?
