commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12250 Posts	Posted 12/03/2013 6:21 pm Here are a couple of suggestions: American Silver Eagles: A Guide to the U.S. Bullion Coin Program, 2nd Edition by John Mercanti, Michael "Miles" Standish It's the most comprehensive look at the series and includes "insider" perspective from former US Mint Chief Engraver John Mercanti. A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars by Q. David Bowers It's a nice "general purpose" reference on the series. If you're looking to become a VAM expert, you'll need to look elsewhere.
