The same for me - $20for$20 coin has been shipped.
I want to believe, that Mint works on the improvement of the shipping times, but actually in the 2013 it was the same - the stand alone items, that issued prior the releases, like 20for20 and 100for100 - were shipped very quick.

I just called the Vancouver Mint store, the 20 for 20 Goose is available for purchase. Does anybody know the exact date for MC members to order the January releases? TIA

I'm new to coins and only collect loonies and toonies so far. Do you guys think its worth getting into the 20 for 20 or other products? I'm trying to find something that jumps out at me. The October 2014 20 for 20 is "holiday candles". Doesn't sound appealing. When will new stuff come on the mint website? Thanks!

Hey Fishy1! Getting into the $20 for $20 series is a great way to build your collection right off the hop for a relatively low cost. I have every 20 for 20 coin and they are among some of my favorite coins in my collection. So, I think it is worth getting into the 20 for 20 series. If you want to find a coin that jumps out, i'd say wait until the January releases are available as there might be something of interest for you. New coins should arrive sometime between January 4th-10th for the public.

"Worth" - what does it mean for you? 20for20 - easy and inexpensive way to get into NCLT. After collecting the first 10 of them, from the 2014 I decided to get them selectively and not all. Other NCLTs - again, according to your taste. The January release will be "open" for general public in 7-10 days (my estimation only) Search ebay to get impression of the previous coins.

There are several threads on the subject of value of NCLT coins vs collecting for pleasure. Collect these coins if you like them but they will never appreciate much in value because they made too many of them. 225,000 coins to be exact.

The $20 price is a bit steep for what is essentially a 1/4 ounce coin. I will get it because I like the design though. I agree with MoneyPenney - just pick and choose an occasional modern collector coin that you find appealing.

Who will buy the new 1oz NCLT gold coins at 2600$... Well, if we consider the 1oz of silver price at 100$ NCLT coins, it seems 4 to 1 ratio for silver, instead of 2 to 1 for gold... So NCLT gold is cheaper then the silver NCLT at the RCM... Anyway, I know we cannot compare the bullion price VS NCLT, but it's a great margin for the RCM to sell silver at those price... I think this year I'll buy bullion instead... I do not hope the RCM re-adjust their price, but as a customer, I'll re-adjust my purchase...

Does anyone know all of the dates for the January release? I know someone said that it will become available Jan. 1 and 2 for MC members, but I still don't see them. I'm wondering if there are other MC members who are also still not able to view the new releases?

Nothing there yet. Also MC with a rep didn't post nothing.
I already heard about 6-th or 7-th of Jan for MC...but this is only the rumors.

Okay, cool. Thanks guys. I was under the impression that people could already view the new release and I thought the 6/7th were for public release. Well it's nice to know that I'm mistaken. I do wish, though, that the Mint would put on their website somewhere when the next release will be coming out - like all the dates for all buyers. That would be useful information to know.

Anyway with all the bunch of new release in January with approx 20 000 mintage each, you have plenty of time to wait! The flipping is over since 6 months anyway...
