I second TJ's opinion on the Gordian. The first coin is VF IMO.

I find this coin type a bit difficult to grade because of the way they were struck. To find a fully struck coin with clear and well centered images is uncommon IMO, they are often off centered and one side might be stronger stuck than the other. I'm a little partial to this coin so I might grade it a little high. I would say VF.

I would go for a VF+ on that, nice coin, well centred and nice portrait.

Very nice coin, I really like the reverse on this type. Overall grade of VF.

Looks like a really nice coin, the bust almost jumps out at you. I would go for aVF based on the wear on the face.

I would probably grade aVF because of missing legend and overall wear.

I agree that the Andronicus I Comnenus Constantinople Billon trachy is hard to grade, but I will try, but before I do I would like to say that I think it is an attractive coin, no matter the grade. So here goes: As a net grade I would call it Fine+ maybe Vf if I could better see what may be a very worn die.
Sept Sev gets a VF.
Rhodes gets a solid VF with a + for appeal:)
AP gets a VF:)

You vs. NGC for grading. http://www.ngccoin.com/ancients/grading.aspxNGC graded this coin between G-MS like "normal". Then "graded" the Strike _/5 and the Surface _/5. Feel free to grade with just a Net grade as usual if you like and skip the Strike and Surface:) Just though it might be fun:) Maximinus I / Pax
