Small picture but I would agree with VF. I would be proud of a VF grade on some of my coins for sure.

VF is on the upper rung of affordable coins. Any better coins than yours and you would be looking at a much more expensive coin.

the reason I had it certified was that I know this coin is readily faked and many faked ambianis are being passed off on ebay and elsewhere...anyways I havent listed it yet but I'm curious ,as I said , what they mean by ....it. smoothing..could it be intentional smoothing? I notice they only give it a 2/5 for surface values..all comments appreciated

This is a bit different. One of a batch of 8 coins I am waiting for delivery, so sellers pics. Phrygia, Apameia Bronze circa 133-48, Helmeted head of Athena r. Rev. Eagle flying r. over Maeander symbol between two pileii. SNG Copenhagen 164. SNG München 110. I was attracted to this because of the patina, and I don't intend to clean this in any way. I am curious as to grading. Here is a link to a couple I found on acsearch http://www.acsearch.info/search.htm...t=1&images=1¤cy=usd&order=0&company=
