@dsfree
Wouldn't your 1856 small date dime be an F-106a?
The F-106a has the die clash between the M and E of dime.
Or am I mistaken? I am a rookie and just looking and comparing it to the pics in Gerry Fortin's book online.

dsfreeworld - I wish I could, indeed, claim a full set of Seated dimes, but I'm still shy eleven to complete..... 1860(O), 1863(P), 1864(P), 1865(P), 1866(P), 1867(P), 1871(CC), 1872(CC), 1873(CC), 1874(CC), and 1885(S).....an ongoing work in progress.....money (the lack of) is the only thing holding me back!!! :)
