Take #2. The previous image was too big.

That's a nice coin! I'd call it 64RB but it looks like there's a scratch in the right, obverse field. If that's not a scratch, it would slab as 63RB with any of the major TPGs.

It is a light scratch above the date.
I'm not the most computer literate and don't know how to change my settings. I could use some instructions on that. Thanks.

Wow--the coin looks very different in the new photograph!

I actually had the coin sitting in the shadows with my natural light lamp shining off to the side. Photographing lustrous silver and bronze coins is still part of my learning curve that has not been mastered.

I've sent the 1928 Lincoln Cent to BadThad from the group so he can photograph it and post his opinion on it. I took the 1891 Seated Liberty dime to my local coin dealer today. He has 35 years experience in the business. He examined and weighed the coin. The weight is correct and he said the coin is an authentic mint product. It has been whizzed and retoned, which I did not detect. (I still have a lot to learn about US coins.) I've contacted the ebay seller from whom I purchased the coin and will return it.

The 1928 Lincoln Cent looks a lot better with the new pics. Glad your returning the 1891 dime, that one bothered me, real or not it just didn't look right. I hope you stick around, it really is a nice place and we are pretty nice folks. I have learned a lot from the members here and it was the best thing I ever did by joining. so....

Paul sent me the 1928 Lincoln for examination. It's a very nice MS-63RB coin and the pictures can be found here: https://goccf.com/t/166750It's definitely authentic and original. The only problem I could see is a light scratch on the obverse, right field which looks like it's from s staple. Paul is an honest, stand-up guy based on my conversations with him.
