NumisRob said... Quote:They keep coming back to haunt me in e-mails from ebay! It's always funny to get a "Second Chance" email from ebay on a weird listing and this seller is now one of my favorites. Another from pdel6528 before I look at other sellers. The description is even better that the title of the listing! 3238787821991964 D 5 CENTS NICKEL,RPM,DDO/R OR STRUCK IN 1stylefrom 1723+ DOS MUDOS COIN Seller's description... Quote: 1964 D 5 CENTS Full Steps,RPM,DDO/R OR STRUCK IN 1stylefrom 1723+ DOS MUDOS COIN. Markings on the" background" of the coin might be mint clash erros, but when that happens you are able to se design of the same coin in a wrong place, this marks are similar to the Philippines barilla or dos mundos,or mexican and Spanish dos mundos, since they had almost the same coins,1728,1832,1897,or 1012 V Denver nickel, also( this is just me sharing an opinion) around 1899 the Philippines changed coin circulation, what if the U.S saved some of the blanks, and in 1964 they used them to mint U.S 5 CENT NICKELS,since the U.S administration did not mint any coins for the Philippines that year... And I have a few 1964 nickels with the same marks, metal looks like silver and they are a little heavier.. coincidence? If not,at least I shared what I thought might happened.ill be posting the other same markings coins soon.Shipped with USPS First Class Package. I can't even find a place to start with this description.

Most token collectors know what Encased Cents are. Apparently, this seller doesn't really know what they are. He calls Encased Cents "Never Go Broke Good Luck Charms" (without the coins, of course). But what he really has for sale are plain old metal washers in a pill bottle! Who does this seller think he's fooling with this auction? 42 Blank Gray Color NEVER GO BROKE GOOD LUCK CHARM Quarter Holder264450345139

Better cherrypick it fast. The sixth washer . . . uhhh, encased quarter holder . . . appears to have a clipped planchet.

Hello,I see you guys having a blast out of my ebay postings,@yokozuna @errersandvarietys @fortcollin .makes me sad to see that if you spotted a Vogue description the first reaction is to go and talk bad things about it, instead of message the seller and let them know the description could be better or more reliable.i understand your point of view and maybe you guys haven't seen this level of error in coins and think they are damaged coins, but they are not.i own multiple Unique error collections, one of them is all double denomination and multiple strikes, extremely hard to get or believe they exists.i will be showing you guys some of them because life its not easy and keeping this coins is a luxury I can not have now,and I intend to put them out for sale. keep in mind that they are not coins that were hit or damaged in parking lots,I'm not full of it either.i will appreciate if take the time to inspect them carefully before you jump to conclusions and affect my reputation.give me your opinions or help to do better postings.

Infamustrueerror, yeah, nice try. Just another damaged junk coin on ebay. Stop selling junk on ebay! If you're gonna sell coins on ebay, then you need to do way more research and homework. I hate it when inexperienced sellers pawns off face value junk coins as so called "errors". It gives this hobby a bad reputation, when junk gets sold for big money.
