Like you, there are other collectors of the same out there. If I had to go out on a limb, most of these bring in a small amount of revenue, maybe 2-5 dollars at best. I have found a handful of the lamination type over the past year, when I have been going through mint sealed bags of 1960-1972 variety and this sort of "damage" isn't one thats highly sought after. I do have a few I have posted in the past that are recent finds, and I too will use them more for education experiences than for sales.
Its like anything else, some one may find the coin ultimately cool. A collectible is only as valuable as the collector is willing to pay for it, so start high and come down as necessary.
I've sold a couple of hundred Lamination error Lincolns in the last year or so. That one is worth about $3. Nice though, because otherwise it is just worth.....a cent!
