2004 P Michigan Quarter does not have any copper showing on the edge. Has anyone else encountered one like this?

It's a platted coin,most likely platinum.

Yep, Its from a platinum plated edition of the set. They also have gold plated. Someone was desperate to spend it..lol

This coin also has a piece of the reeded edge broke off, and it still doesn't show any copper color. It may still be platinum coated. I have found several s-mints over the years that weren't meant for circulation. Some folks must have needed some change bad.
