That's an ok price for a dino-lite scope.There are cheaper ones out there so you may want to research a bit.Here is a good one too http://www.amazon.com/Aven-26700-30...p/B00AOBM77O

I use the Carson Zorb, cheap at @$30.00 Doesn't come with very usable stands, so I improvised with the Styrofoam cups. L.E.D.s were a little too bright, so I used white candle wax to tone it down some.

Here is an interesting, very inexpensive, and easy to make setup if you have a smartphone.

The cameras in some smartphones (especially the iPhone) are simply amazing and can be used as microscopes. CCF member Wheatback built one and posted some amazing pics he took.

Wow, thats pretty awesome. I have a galaxy s4 that has a pretty good camera. I might have to try it out. I just want something to take nice pictures with and start to learn the basics
