BOught this lot for £3.49 (first and only bid) - the main thing I'm looking at is the Blake 2d, a bit piece of copper. The rest ill probably put back on ebay or in the junk box.

Here's my only one, an 1789 (it's actually dateless, but research shows it as 1789, lol) Irish Cronebane Half Penny. This one was handed down by my gramps, I really wish I knew where he got it . I'd grade it as EF as these are known for extremely weak strikes. My horrible phone pics do it no justice... Description- c1789 Wicklow Cronebane Halfpenny Condor Token D&H #39 OBVERSE: A bishop's head in profile. CRONEBANE HALFPENNY. With Crosier. The ends of the upper ribbon points between the foot of Y and the period. REVERSE: ASSOCIATED IRISH MINERS ARMS. (No Date) Crest has winch, shovels, picks, etc. EDGE: PAYABLE AT

Cronebane is common yet goes high on ebay. Ill never know why. Perhaps there are 2 collectors vying to get them all. And if we're posting medals, heres a Sentimental Series issue of Garrick, 1 of 13: Got it today for just shy of £5. Not too bad, I reckon. Common tokens, priced between 5 and 30 for any in any condition. There was, advertised byt he Sentimental Magazine editor, gold and silver versions available on request, but none have ever surfaced.

That Sussex 9 surely is a beauty! Here's one that I've much enjoyed for the history ... Mrs. Newsham, the white Negress: I previously posted the Dunstan token and can't help but wonder how well they knew one another? What an odd couple they would have made, standing alongside one another in the Curiosity House on Finsbury Square. Here's an interesting read about Mrs. Newsham: http://archive.museumoflondon.org.u...ople/114.htm

Uncharitable monopolizer DH-239 in white metal. "Take not what was made for all. The uncharitable monopolzer will starve the poor." Notice the devil on the mans hat(and the word possesion) who is in the process of swallowing the Earth. A very busy design and one of my favorite condors that I have.

Thanks for posting this info, Yarm. I'd not seen this site before. I can't help but wonder if Thomas Hall ever entertained the notion of stuffing Mrs. Newsham and/or Jeffrey Dunstan?

Is there an online priced catalogue of Conder tokens ?
Possibly a dealer with a really large selection would do.

Possibly a dealer with a really large selection would do. I've dealt with David Stuart, a fine fellow from across the pond, who maintains an admirable stock and website. Here's a link: http://www.abccoinsandtokens.com/Finest I've seen to date ...

Found another 2d on the cheap, 40mm for a few quid. Very happy with it, its now displaced my old one (I have 3 of these). Also another Wilkinson. Edge looks sharp.
