Some-Info-Needed-About-My-Greek-Silver-Please

I just bought this yesterday but the price was very low and I'm not the type of person that ever finds an amazing deal so I was hoping one of the experts could help me out. I don't know much about greek coins. I've browsed through vcoins and forvm for a while. from what I've seen I would say this is an alexander? now there are a few things that concern me. its about 5 grams(I didn't want to take it out of the flip in case I need to return it) maybe a bit less. I know that's a bit heavy for a drachm but is a little extra weight tolerable? it could be less than 5. also after looking at hundreds of examples, I have not seen one that has the exact same picture. I haven't seen one with the "VE" or "ME" or whatever that is under the eagle on the reverse. could anyone show me an example of the same design as this one? or if anyone has seen a fake with this design? any help would be appreciated.

let me know if you need better pictures or if the exact weight is needed to be sure and I can take it out of the flip. I know its not centered very well but the details seem nice to me so if anyone could estimate its value I would appreciate that too. thank you very much in advance.

Hard to determine very much with the coin in the holder.
It appears to be genuine. The reason it sold 'cheap' may well be that the face is off center. Most collectors prefer to have a nice 'moon face' of Alexander. I have not purchased these types in a very long time. When last I bought them I think I paid $200 for five at the NY International around 20 years ago. Prices have gone up !
I believe it is good for another reason too ..... Most forgers would not make them missing most of the face !

It difficult to say if the coin is real or not from these pictures. Can you remove the coin from the 2x2 and take a little closer picture?

It has that "dull grey" of a genuine coin.

It's doubtful a fake would be made with the profile struck off the flan.
Based on the reverse, I think it's a posthumous Alexander drachm--I didn't look up the mint.

Weigh an identical empty flip. Include the weight of identical staples with it.
Weigh the coin, still inside the flip. The subtraction should give you the weight of the coin.

Thank you for all your responses. I have more confidence in the authenticity of the coin now so I will take it out and show you a better pic and the exact weight. Hopefully I can find my microscope camera or a proper camera other than my phone.
