What happens when a coin is placed into jewelry is usually considered damage and not cleaning. That being said, the surfaces of your coin show hairlines, friction and rubbing that are consistent with cleaning or polishing. Those things can and do occur when a piece of jewelry is handled, worn, stored, etc. Bottom line is you've got a coin worth it's gold content which is about $1215 USD tonight.
