Got confirmation of shipment the other day as well. Hopefully I won't be disappointed...

They all look like this, not the regular proof finish.

Not sure if it is the plastic case or the finish on the coin. If it is the finish on the coin you might have a rare one of a kind error.

Ah......now I see, couldn't tell from your first pic. Strange, looks cameo, but the fields are not mirror. Interested to see someone else's set.

I have 2 sets in hand and obverse of the quarters and the reverse of the ASE, Half Dollar & Dime have this finish. The other side of the coins have the regular proof finish.

I've never seen anything like that. Did you get all the protective film off the lens?

The finish on the pic of the set looks like a normal proof finish. The enlarged pic shows a decent amount of jpeg noise created by the enlargement...the jagged font on the letters show this best.

Here are pics of the ASE & Half Dollar. This is the hardest thing I have ever tried to photograph!

You are seeing distortion from the plastic. These are proof coins - not some special finish set. I read on Mint News blog about this and people insisted it was a different finish on the coins, and then some started opening the packages and found it was nothing ... but bad Chinese plastic.

I just received my two sets today, And both of my sets are the same with scratch's on (both sets) of the ASE, And KHD.
Almost the same as the previous poster. If someone can tell me how to post pictures, I will for all to see. I think my two sets will be going back for exchange. The quality is UGLY on these coins.

I got the first of 3 sets today. The ASE has a distinct 1" scratch on the Obverse. The scratch is between the "T" and "Y" in "Liberty." It's not as bad, but the type of scratch is identical to the marks that Foxwoods Man has on his ASE. This set is going back... Oh for one.
