A few have asked what is the USPS Auction I spoke of...it is the United States Postal Service and they use to hold an Auction every month in Atlanta, Georgia. They Auction off anything and everything you can imagine that they were unable to deliver and unable (for what ever the reason)to return.
I have made many purchases over the years and always at least broke even, there has been times where I have made tens of thousands in profits also.
As of last October, they started doing the Auction online instead of at the facility where I was going.
This changed everything, instead of competing against 300 people, I am now competing against the world. I have not won a lot since (they refer to the groups they place the products in as "lots", as in, I am bidding on lot number 23 or lot 58 or whatever.
Best of luck to you all...again, I promise to take a picture of the 1804 when I can get to the coin (it is in a safe deposit box at the bank with a few of my other rare (or potentially rare) coins.
Man...I do hope for your sake that it is real. Do you realize what you would have if it was? Unfortunately...the chances of it being real are SLIM to NONE. Cant wait to see some pics..
