So according to my rep, the canopy is "selling out at a rapid pace." Too bad the second one ruin it for me.

CoinCanuck: I was tempted to order another for myself. I think this coin will easily hold its value as the artistry and composition is excellent. Must admit though that I had never heard of Nanaboozhoo before. A woman at work who is Ojibwa said he is quite the legend within her community. I ended up getting one of the coins for her as well.
BTW, I did decide to order the Arctic fox.
Cheers

I want some more of these releases but I will hold out once again because I welcome the incoming lower prices in gold and silver, which, factoring how cheap the coins get on ebay, I think theres gonna be some great deals on hot canadian coins :D

It'll be nice to see if prices reflect the newer prices of the metals. Gold down again today! $1294/oz (u.s.)

The fact that the Spring Canopy Coin is "awaiting stock" means nothing because you can get the coin anywhere next week. All the dealers and the Post Office will have it in stock at issue price.

Quote: maybe this has been answered already.... Why is the new Maple Canopy coin called "Spring" again? The first one released last year was "Spring", shouldn't we by on the "summer" coin? No, this hasn't been answered. But we assumed, that this is "Seasons" series...may be it was planned as seasons, but after first coin, the designer changed, and also the designs of the coins. So probably this took away RCM from the "seasons" concept. now it appears as "3-rd coin of 4 coins" series....but who knows, what will be the last coin - maybe "Spring" again, or "Autumn" ( btw, series might be interesting, if the last coin will be "Autumn" designed by Emily Damstra), and will be the next one really the last?

I find those Nanaboozhoo coins quite nice, I just can't bring myself to buying any of them...

I caved this morning for 1 Legend of Nanaboozhoo and will pass on the others. I wasn't going to get any but this one grew on me fast, very nice IMO.

Nice coins - Nanazhooboo, but nothing significant to me. I like the gilded one most. I've learned not to rush at the first day of release, and if my first excitement cools down - I do not order the coin.
And new Spring Canopy coin....how nice was the first, many posts about it, pictures (I even bought a two, as the first coin in the amazing series), and now it forgotten. Something tells me that I do not need the new one.

Correct, TIPIT
The second one "Autumn" - just spoiled a bit the series for me, but the third - "killed" interest.

I broke down and ordered the Spring Canopy because I missed out on getting the Emily Damstra version which I think is nicer, at issue price. Don't get why we're getting a $50 for $50. Sure it's not just the 1.5 ounce bullion coin that CP is selling? Lately it seems the RCM is running with wild ideas, some of which leave us shaking our heads and asking why?, why? why?! I haven't filled any surveys on coinage themes in a long time, but it would be nice if the Mint asked collectors more often what they thought before tripping over themselves to duplicate their work such as with the 2014 Lucky Loon. Maybe we'll have that opportunity in August at the RCNA convention.
