I broke down last night and bought the ladybug and now have all 4 and also the Candy Cane. For all 5 I've spent a total of $1595 Cdn(shipping included)...sure hope they maintain there value in the years to come and the kids & grand kids enjoy them as much as I do. ...frog $150,butterfly $200,bumblebee $200,ladybug $925,candy cane $120

Congrats, sherwooddavid, for the beautiful series! In total - you got them for reasonable price. You spent more on the Glass Butterfly , but returned it with Candy Cane..

@sherwooddavid.
These are nice coins but you being new and all becarfull not to spend all your money on NCLT coins, I dont see most NCLT coins increasing in value much, well maybe not at all with the Mint pumping out the amount of coins the last few years.This set is the exception to the rule not the norm. Buy what you like but don't overdo it , its good to have a mix of proofs(NCLT) and some bullion coins or bars of silver and gold, you just never know whats in store for the future , would hate to see all those 1 oz NCLTs become 1 oz bullion some day.

Someone got a good deal on glass lady bug, onlym$877' CAD. Seldom can you find a glass lady bug under $900-$1,000. I wonder if any forum member from either forum was the lucky bidder?

@ northerncoins you offer some very sound advice for all collectors. I have some of each in my collection. However, I am lured by some of the art work on Nclt coins. I do try and get them under issue when I can. The one thing is I do get tired at looking at the same design in circulation coins, if I feel it's boring. I much prefer Pre 1935 circulation coins, unless a Commemerative design.

Does anyone know if the frog is the last coin in the series ? I'm making up a case for them and trying to figure out how many slots to put it. Thanks !

definitely not the last one, the series can go on for years,,, way too soon to slay the goose that is laying the golden eggs..

It amazes me, after causing confusion and disappointment. All the talk regarding cancellations I ordered from CP & CC&C and I ended up with 5 frogs I don't need. I'm selling at cost & shipping.
This was not managed well! The extra stock & MC members still didn't get the coin, and 6 months later it's in stock. They need to better manage inventory. I was wondering why it was showing as awaiting stock? I had thought it was posted as sold out. Hopefully no one sees them and they get melted.
