1912 French Indo-China 10 Cent Coin

I know it has silver in it, but otherwise I am unsure of the value. Also, I was taking a look at the date and it looks a bit strange to me. Like the 19 is misaligned with the 12. Am I just seeing things, or is that fairly common maybe? Report this Post to the Staff

keepcalmandcoinon Pillar of the Community United States 865 Posts	Posted 03/22/2014 01:04 am Unfortunately, this one looks like a counterfiet. The 1912 10 cent had a fineness of .835. Yours says .680 so most likely is a fake. These coins are notorious for counterfiets. I myself have bought about 12 of them of all denominations and only two ended up being real. I also have a 1909 20 cent one that is alos probably a fake then, it also says .680. Well, at least I got them out of pocket change and didnt have to pay anything for them.
