Well it's actually 800-900% not 85 and only "outrageous" because the majority of the coins haven't been shipped yet and the market hasn't equalized. The percentage is not really out of whack for an in demand coin from an in demand set. I just sold some ASE's from one of a bunch of 2011 25th Annie sets I bought and had graded. Just the RP (NGC PF70) went for $650 which is right around 1000% the cost of that individual coin ($299/5) It's just the time frame that is out of whack here...give it a few more years and that very well could be a real price. Am I the only one didn't ordered the HOF gold coin?
I was in the waiting room (showing 30 mins wait time) but decided not to buy it because the price.

I might have gotten my coin(s) delivered today, but I won't know until later. UPS tried to deliver a package requiring a signature at 10:30 this morning. I was at work and my retired wife was upstairs in the bathroom "getting herself ready" when she heard the knock. Oh well, anticipation is half the fun....I guess.

The representative at the mint told me that if you still have a backordered date on your gold coin then you are most likely going to get them. . . . fingers crossed!

Couldn't resist temptation before silver offerings get sold out. Bought a very small amount, kept thinking about it and didn't want to pay extra down the road if I changed my mind/outlook about these coins while I could get them directly from the Mint.

No, I was going to order the gold coin but decided not to when I finally got on the website I was only going to order a few of the two silver types and when I went online at 12:10 and saw a 2 hour 19 minute waiting time I decided to order 2 PF and 1 uncirc gold....and then added 1 more PF and 2 uncirc's....and then added one more of each... Oh well...I succumbed to the frenzy...guess they were potato chips to me  |

UPS came to my house yesterday and had me sign for a package. The only thing in the box was the free bag. Why do I have to sign for a box that has a worthless bag in it?
