I just got an email saying they shipped mine today it was scheduled to go out April 1st. They are only two days off.

Lol I canceled 2 of my bags. The proof half seem to be in stock at the moment but that's it. My cancel box disappeared on those today.

dumb question..I have clad and silver MS & PF 4 of these, PCGS FS labels in hand today..cannot find a slot in PCGS Registry to fill..have to wait for PCGS to create the listing?

They aren't always the fastest at updating the registry sets. Basically just have to wait.

I just received a "SOLD OUT" indicator on a Silver Dollar order I tried to put through today about 15:30 PST 4 April 2014. Is it possible they have already gone through 400,000 silver in a little over 7 days? I am very new to this & need a little perspective. . . what coin, if any, has sold out this fast (if silver is gone) & what might it mean for their future value? The buffalo commem sold out in a pretty short time but I don't think it was this fast. Last I heard these had sold over 300k according to the mint so a sellout today isn't a surprise.
Popular things that sell out fast usually gain value over time or at least hold value.
One thing that I don't think we've really touched on is this mintage is going to be a little misleading. What I mean is given this coin has the unusual ability to draw in people who don't collect/be gifted to kids/baseball fans who don't collect, there's a very really possibility a decent percentage of the mintage is out of the pipeline. Usually collectors buy it who know where to sell ect and the mintage for the most part stays circulating with in the collector community. In this case at least some will be leaving that circle which may or may not ever come back to it.

I don't think these are sold out yet. Coin World posted an article yesterday indicating they believed the silver had been about 87% sold so far. Any bets... that there is another 100,000 minted? (or will they just try for the clad sellout?) Those who purchased the gold on Thursday after the wait list notice went up - will be happy to know that the mint put the wait list notice up before the sell out. The mint indicated they expected the coins to sellout overnight Thursday and didn't want anyone buying them to be surprised if they didn't get a coin with no notice. That is good news for many people I am guessing. |

I doubt it but we'll see. ..and...as far as I know NO ONE has received a "You've been placed on a waiting list" email. I think the orders will go right from backordered to toast |
