I found this in some circulation coin. Not sure if its real or fake. I believe it is a civil war token whether it be real or a copy is the question. Any thoughts? Whats the general value of something like this?

I looked online for your Civil War Store Card, but nothing turned up. I did find your token in my Guide Book of Civil War Tokens by David Bowers.

Both dies of your token is listed as MI-525-C
Rarity (R-2): 2001-5000

You can see them listed here.
I believe yours are dies MI525C-3obv[1] and MI525C-5rev[1]

MI - Michigan
525 - Numeric code for Jackson
C - Each merchant in a given town is assigned a letter(s) of the alphabet

The final number and letter designate a particular reverse die and metal content.

I'd estimate the value of this token to be in the $20-$25 range.

Fuzzy and ExoGuy are right on. I live in Jackson, MI and collect this merchant. Your token is a MI 525 C-6a variety. The obverse is the C6 die and the reverse is the C5 die. This merchant mixed up his custom dies to get 23 varieties. To date I have 16 of them.

Here is your token in Brass, the C-6b variety
