Quote:Woohoo, someone here known as harbouredtreasures on ebay posted a Polymer $20 with my birthday 1957067 6 July,1957 placed my bid, hopefully I'll get it, not bidding any higher though... That's me! You'll likely get it since the odds of someone else looking for that same date finding it during the week-long listing is pretty slim. I suppose someone wanting to make money off birthday notes would put a higher premium than $1.99. Both the notes I put up this week have bids and I sold the five pictured above last week. I just have fun looking for them (and my wife seems to humour me too).

I thought they'd be a tough sell too and was surprised to sell three of three. It's only $1.99 premium, but still kinda fun to justify looking for the notes. I'd try sticking them on ebay for a week or two if I was you.

ive never played there other to buy and dont understand much of the fees, etc. sounds like they take a good chunk from you, is the 1.99 enough to cover it?

Not on the twenty - $2.20 in fees (I had a discount on the postage, so I didn't lose money). $1.20 on the ten. $0.70 on the five. Definitely a good idea to raise the premium a little for a listing or two. As mentioned, I was sort of testing the waters with these and having some fun.

I suspect that nobody has this birthday. Yet. Posting just for fun as I have already deposited into my bank. I've only actually seen 2 birthday notes that are from the last century. If anybody is checking for birthday notes, I would really appreciate these dates: May 29, 1955 July 7, 1961 May 22, 1997 August 11, 2000

You guys aren't following the correct MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY numbering protocol for birthday notes, but who am I to spoil your fun.

Had this posted on another thread. Picked up from the bank last week. Only problem, I don't know anyone born in 1978.
