I think the year can be first? 06 05 17 I have trouble figuring out if that food item or vitamin expired in 2006 or 2017. or may or june. unfortunately if it were up to me there would be no such thing as birthday notes as all dates would have SE, OC, DE, etc instead of numerals, to avoid confusion. 17 DE 2006 or 17 DE '06, (in whatever order).
