Quote: Are there going to be any silver ones left upon release date? Szuter, I would bet with each silver coin having a mintage of 10,000 (and the 3 per household limit) that there will be plenty of them available when released to the general public.

Well, I wouldn't be so sure. Although, I don't know if they put all the available quantities to their system, but here are the current numbers: 733 of 1/2 oz 487 of 1 oz

@NuMoos: as I mentioned in my earlier post - the mint was expecting to be out of stock (for all 3 silver coins) by the end of today

this has been a very memorable day for all the hard core Superman coin fans...and doubters.....I note that the first auction of the new 2014 Superman gold coin is at 936.29 USD with 6 days to go and 14 bidders http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Canada...em4adaca7bf8im sure the coins will sellout by Sept 2 and I'm still hoping to get a CP direct ship gold and hopefully a few more action 1 silver so if the Canada Post allotment system works then I will be happy..I live in a remote island community where there is a post office and I'm the only coin collector in the community that I know of and we are allotted 1 gold coin and a few silver coins of each type......I dont know how some of these ebay sellers get so many golds to presale but I'm going to be impressed if the ones I bought come thru......getting these gold coins is a real challenge and the words..this is a job for Superman...come to mind......this thread has doubled today..my I phone was clanging all day long while I was trying to work......congrats to all who scored gold for issue price and my condolences to those who have to buy useless things like cars....

Quote: congrats to all who scored gold for issue price and my condolences to those who have to buy useless things like cars.... Definitively, congrats to the collectors / fans, who wanted the coin and got one for issue. And I actually even couldn't give my allocation to someone , cause have no "free space" on CC to buy it. And the car purchase... like you answered me about original 1938 SM Comics (and it understandable), that I find useless, the same way, you'll say that trade in 2013 car to 2014 only cause I don't like 2015 refresh is useless too. Each one has his personal "scratch" Btw, ordered "piece of 1938" in the shape of 1/2oz silver coin.

You right, CASSIDY, even while joking Does someone know, which car model holds Superman on the 1938 cover? Hope, for the collectors , that in the 2015 RCM will not mint the Superman set again....

Got home from work this morning and forgot all about the Superman coin, was checking the forums around 10 and quickly jumped on the phone - managed to get a Gold after waiting 15 minutes - Can't afford it but I got it... I think I'll wait until I have it in hand before I try to sell it

What happened to the Super-Mania...where did everybody go...? Is everybody still overcome by the bliss of nabbing a gold coin...or still hung over for missing out? If you missed out on gold...silver is still available...2nd place finishes are still worthy of glory...no?

Looks like ebay has nice portion of the mintage, and started to offer from $1100 and up. It still reasonable price....better not to wait till it reach $5.000 on the Christmas Btw, did the 1-st gold coin reach the 5.000 as was predicted?

Quote: Btw, did the 1-st gold coin reach the 5.000 as was predicted? No..saw one for BIN for $1699 yesterday , but it was the only one I found, maybe I didnt look hard enough, I cant see these new golds doing better then the first ones, time will tell I guess. Quote: It still reasonable price....better not to wait till it reach $5.000 on the Christmas Lol no chance of that . Quote: 1 oz silver Superman is awaiting stock. That doesn't mean much, the first series silver superman coins are available and near issue price, I wouldn't get to excited about the silver ones. nice to have if your going to collect them but increasing in value long term ..eh not so much.
