I love this forum! Everyone is given a fair chance to express his / her opinion and reply to others, all the while behaving like respectful adults. Thanks for keeping it classy everyone!

Oh, and if anyone takes offense at being labeled a "respectful adult", I apologize in advance.

westernsky...
In all respect,, I pretty much agree with most of your comments.

I just think doing "what if" scenarios are bad anywhere where you are not face to face.
People could do those endlessly.
And I agree, that some people will find something and try to find an owner, while others will not. It all depends on the person.
In the previous thread (the quarters at the store one), I read your posts as judgmental and high handed. Maybe you didn't mean them that way, but I don't think I was the only one to read it that way.

The problem with the internet, is no one can see you or know the emotional context, so people get easily offended when they interpret something differently then the way you meant it.
God only knows, I am guilty of offending people all the time, because I can't impart context very well. When I first mentioned you in THIS thread, I admit I was taking a cheap shot. I apologize.

Very sweet deal. I would gladly pay face value for silver dimes too.

Hey Stampvirgin....

Thanks, but no need to apologize at all. We all just try to defend our positions and when we have differences in opinions it stimulates the discussions. I just try to think a little bit out of the box, get people to think, and yes, it gets me in trouble sometimes. If I offended you in anyway please accept my apology.

Happy coin hunting and have a great weekend!
