i was wondering can APCGS coins be used as collateral for loans like PCGS in the USA where you can borrow up to 60 % of the value of the coin to buy other coins or shares

I think even I can answer this one. All coins are assets and all you would need to do is go to a local coin dealer and get your items evaluated as individual items.

PNC king, PCGS doesn't service the loan. Collateral Finance Corporation do. By Reading CFC's website it doesn't say the coins need to be slabbed by anyone to use them as collateral for a loan. It says
"CFC uses A-Mark current market prices to determine the value of the precious metals collateral i.e., gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. Numismatic collateral values are determined by evaluators using PCGS, NGC, Grey Sheet, Blue Sheet, auction prices, expert opinion, and other sources.
Once the value of your collateral has been established you will be notified of the proposed loan amount and interest rate."
So I would assume you could use a coin slabbed by APCGS as collateral the same as you could use a coin in a 2X2.
Would you care to tell me which members you think are representatives of APCGS.
As a side note I have decided to use Lighthouse Quantums instead of getting my coins slabbed.

tella, CFC gets them independently valued so I doubt you would even need a grade.

Without going into their website (CFCs) I'm guessing they are a American company that are based in America. If this is the case I would doubt that they would process a loan by an Australian. In reference to what I was talking about was getting a loan by an Australian banking institution, not finance companies that stick it to you with high interest rates

Failure? I think you might need to join up to the big Facebook auction sites. They seem to be dominating the auctions and I reckon you would fall over when you see the price the items are really selling for.

Well Tella I wouldn't say APCGS slabs are dominating the facebook page , there's over 120+ items up for auction atm and I reckon there's only 7 apcgs slabs ,most is low valued stuff under $50
