I was trying to buy a 2014 proof eagle set and have it shipped to the uk. It says on the US mint website that they ship to the UK. I tried to register my account but there is no place to list your country and payment methods were a bit vague !!
So I called their customer service who tried to create an account so I could pay by wire but that failed, she said they only accept USA credit cards. In the end she said " get someone you know in the USA to buy for you and they can ship it" ?
I was not really too impressed with the experience.
Does anyone have any info or ideas of the best way ot sort this out, I don't really know anyone well enough in the USA to buy for me.

Correction to the above, I did manage to enter my country on my account, payment was the issue.

Did you try Paypal. I use mine to bu from Canada and from Australia and have coins shipped to the U. S. The conversion fee is about 1% for my transactions. I would think is the funds show up in U. S. dollars you should be fine, but then again they are not the best. For the cost of a wire you probably could do better finding a good retailer and paying their mark up. For the gold set, I am not certain of the metal you are looking for, APMEX has them listed.
