I recently acquired some fine examples of Belgian 5 centimes.
However, I have my doubts about the authenticity of one of them: 5 centimes 1857.
Weight 9,78 which is plausible
Diameter +-28,5 mm which is supposed to be 28mm
The colour seems a bit odd to me if I compare it to some other examples I have (pictures of 5 centimes 1837 added for comparison). Maybe because the coin has been cleaned? Die is also cracked in the word "FORCE" which I suppose does not happen that much with counterfeit examples?
I know that there are counterfeits of the 5 centimes out there but I have only seen them for the scarcer dates.

Could anyone help me out on this one?

NCG gives a diameter of 28.3mm. It looks good to me, color could be due to an old cleaning that has since re-toned.
