So my 8tf came in today, what do you guys think? Ordered it from Mint Products. golden eagle didn't have any in stock and as soon as I placed my order it was out of stock at Mint Products as well.

BU is a fair description, certainly in the MS63 range, and looks to be semi-prooflike to boot.

Yes, its a tad PL maybe only in the obverse, not as much or at all in the reverse.

I'll go out on a limb and state that its a VAM 6. That being stated, since it has PL surfaces on obverse, it may be wise to carefully check the edge reed count, which may very well be 193. A prior study of the VAM 6 has shown that the die variety was struck with 3 different collars over the course of the production. The most common edge reed count being 189, then fewer so known of 193(scarce) and least known reed count of 179(very rare). All examples seen with 189 reed count are non PL. All examples seen with the lesser reed counts are PL.
