The problem is that the boxes are not serialized so as Silveroid said, here is no way to know how many they produced. Something like that happened also with the Great Lakes subscription.

Why would you not believe that the Mint is only selling 350 subs?

Plenty of their coins have defined mintages but are not serialized. I don't think there is any reason to think the Mint is lying.

I think it this case it is refreshing that they have announced that there are only 350 complete sets as opposed to other subs like the GL, ducks, Go7 etc where we are left to guess at how many 'boxes' there are.

I believe there is only 350 sets, but with Canadian Coin offering a free yearly set as bonus and now single coin payment on the set, it's a much better deal than the MC offer of last week. Sort of defeats the whole purpose of being a MC.

I agree it's very lame to manage to get a sub at RCM when there are that low quantity available... just to find out a week later that there is a bunch available at another dealer for less than what you will pay! Same price actually, but with the 2015 proof set with 100$ value.

There is one thing tough... with CCC you get the case with the 4th or 5th coin. RCM sends it with the 2nd.

Ok and then I just realized... CCC is giving 3,300 VIP points with this order, which is another 33$ to take OFF from your total amount... Bleeeh.

Is it standard procedure with RCM to receive the case with the 2nd coin when it come to subscriptions?; because the description of the coins does not mention this.

With RCM you can cancel anytime but how about Canadian Coin & Currency? Can you cancel the coins after one or two coins (assuming you use the installment payment option)?

This is different depending of subs. It rarely comes with the first one (duck case came with the first coin last year), and usually after a few coins. Fabulous15, the case come with the 5th or 6th coins I think.
This was clearly indicated in the RCM booklet for MC member that this one would come with the second coin.

It's not that we don't believe, but at least there is room to doubt. RCM is nowadays extremely commercial, and can do whatever in order to increase sales. Since the boxes are not serialized and the coin prices are the same if sold in sets or individually, it's "difficult" to control it.

Btw... do you think they throw in the trash the boxes they have in excess?

It's not difficult to control limited production numbers at all. I'm pretty sure someone at the mint can count to 350. It's not like they are making hamburgers on a grill and losing a few to the floor.

Why would they have excess custom ordered 6 slot coin boxes that hold 5oz coins?

I suppose you're free to think the RCM will do anything for sales but if they would produce more sets than they state, then I guess we shouldn't trust any mintage numbers including serialize. Who knows. there could be 5 thousand gold Supermans.

BTW, Taro-chan and I each have the same number COA for a coin produced by the RCM. So maybe we can't trust their numbers on anything.

I'm guessing Canadian coin and currency is pretty reputable? I see they have these big coins for sale including the subscription with a free gift! ......I'm honestly sitting here right now, credit card in hand and don't know what to do?My heart is saying yes,but because of the $3300 price tag my mind is saying no.....oh man,I'm also a big outdoorsman and collect firearms so this a tough call.....

Do you guys think these coins will at least hold there value in time unlike the majority of NCLT Coin?
