If I posted pics of every coin id be here for a month. I have rec advise from a few members to not post pics of certain things until the proper time. As far as the pac coin, its being photographed and in the possesion of another forum member right now.

Even though I don't do much with American coins, I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the posts of the coins from this collection. Truly an amazing collection

I take it that CTB doesn't live that far from you? I assume you guys are actually meeting together to catalog the collection. Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct, Darth. I live close enough to help him out and have the time to do so. On top of that, I have the memberships and knowledge to get necessary material certified, CAC'ed, and otherwise, the connections to maximize return when that time comes, on the material which he chooses to liquidate. As a hobbyist and not a professional, I derive my enjoyment from working with the collection, not profiting off it, therefore I am a far better option than a dealer who needs to make money... money is secondary to me, at best.

CTB- Kudos to you for helping him with his inheritance. I think your effort in this endeavor is a great example to our members. Man, it must be awesome for you- being able to behold this collection in person. Can't wait for the pictures of these treasures.

Heck, I should muscle in on this. I'm closer to him than CTB.

It may also be relevant from a value standpoint. Collecting "Lowball" Morgans is a thing, with enough of a collector base that P01 (especially) and FR2 Morgans can have added value depending on how difficult they are to find in low grade. Some are downright tough, since so many Morgan mintings went straight into Mint vaults without circulation. Caveat: A TPG's ability to unequivocally identify date and mint mark is imperative - if there's a question, they won't slab.
