I got my first Morgan dollar back in the mid 1980's for $1.50 cash or so from a kid who was the son of a friend of my mothers who had traded a disposable lighter for it.
I'll trade you a Zippo today for a Morgan let alone a taco.
I caught part of this...I believe it was on FX during "Stepbrother"...the tv was on mute, but it caught me eye. Thanks for posting the whole commercial.
Seriously. Why have a pocket piece if you are so broke? Anyway they don't have a taco for $1 on their menu, maybe some curly fries or a drink, but cheapest taco they have in my area is $1.19.
Even at $1, you can't afford the tax with the face value of a Morgan.
Ah, but not only it is false advertising, it is just dumb. We shouldn't allow these sorts of commercials to exist where someone pays @$30 value for a single taco, but you can't even get the taco for the face value!
FYI: I am anti-commercials in general because they only prey on people and their wallets and offer nothing really in value of product or information. They are like a car salesman that invades your home every 8 minutes to try to sell you garbage you don't want and you have no option to say no to them except turn the channel.
