I'm looking to buy this coin and I need some help to identify reverse and VAM number.
I was just thinking if this could be A1j reverse.

What do you think?
Have only a low resolution pic..

The low light angle makes it difficult, but I think you are correct.

Not A1j. It is VAM 2, therefore A1b reverse.

I looked at VAM 2 but couldn't find the die polishing lines in left wing and the die crack over TES of states...

You're looking too hard. The engraved wing feathers tell me everything I need to know. If it had obverse clashes, with partial I-n letters appearing at profile of Liberty's throat combined with the reverse die crack across TES and up to rim, I'd have said VAM 2A. Believe me, it is a VAM 2.

I didn't want to contradict you but I just wanted to try to understand. I always trust in who is more experienced than me.

Thanks

Early die stages of the reverse of VAM 2 are absent the markers that you were looking for. I have a PCGS MS-64PL in my collection, for example.

Didn't have any other pic. This coin is in a coin auction with others 1878 morgans and I was hoping to find another VAM because I already have the VAM 1

A1k reverse, so either VAM 14.1 or VAM 14.10.
Most likely the former.
