The killing is so senseless and so is the Monday Quebec killing. So sad it was a soldier and at the countries war memorial. How are people coping in the capital?

Quote: Im looking for 5 of the collector cards....if anyone has any for sale let me know, thanks! Looks like these have low "mintage" (printage ?) People reporting that they wait a hours in the lines in order to get 5. Prices on ebay are near CAD 5 per card plus shipping. No dealer have them, and this time RCM didn't sent them with coin pack, with their stupid: "We sell the coins, not the cards". Looking just for 2-3, looks like will by on ebay at the end...

I'm looking for at least 2, 1 for my son and 1 for me. First time it's hard to get the free collector. The mint should really include them when sending the Toonies. They could even charge a buck, I doubt collector would object. They did it with the life of the north coin.

I agree. Even the collector cards for the 1812 'heros' were available for the asking - not through the mint, but Heritage Canada. I wonder why these are so hard to come by, except for the resellers on ebay?

Anybody have a picture of what the card looks like? All this chatter about the card makes me want to get one myself.

Hopefully I can get a few collector cards at the Dartmouth coin exchange next Saturday. I plan on being there at 9:30 sharp so hopefully there won't be be many folks there that early.

People stand in the lines, return and again stand in the line, to get additional 5 cards. Some just pay to the people for standing in line. Some ebay sellers cal to the " RCM books". In any way, this exceptional item will fit very nicely our copy (that we got from RCM) of the circulation $2.

I seldom goes to the bank but just happen to be there today. Randomly asked if they have any roll and to my surprised, they answered yes. Usually they said no and point me to bank of Canada in Downtown Ottawa which I know don't carried this stuffs. Anyway, managed to pick up 5 rolls :)

Those cards should be printed to order for a full year. I cannot get any of the Life in the North cards at anywhere near a reasonable price. I managed to get 150 1812 Folders for $1.50/ea.
