Thanks for posting the pictures. I didn't realize people would sell these cards on ebay. Looks like I'll have to get one if the opportunity arises.

Well, here in the Montreal coin exchange the employees asked you how many you wanted, no limits at all and on the afternoon they had also rolls of 25 coins ($50).

@ Arianzo thank you for your prompt reply and offer. I look forward to receiving them. I like the history the cards contain.

This coin is sure timely with the 2 soldier deaths. I've been following on TV, it's very tragic!! It has bonded a nation and it's what Canada needed to galvanize people to be more united and patriotic. The sight of the 5 yr old son, is a soulfully touching as the image depicted on the Toonie or presidents Kennedy's 3 yr old son. It has touched Canada down to it's foundation. It doesn't matter what nationality, we are all Canadians and free! This Remembrance Day will be very moving!

There was no limits for the "Wait for me Daddy cards" I asked for 5 and bought 5 loose toonies for the cards. It worked out well, they will be nice Xmas gifts for our relatives in the UK and I was home within half an hour !

Got one coin in the change in Toronto!!

So they really in circulation now....interesting, how it escaped from being requested by roll collectors in the bank.

I have been asking every bank I go to, to see if they have any of these, the only one was an RBC, and they said they sold them in about 30 minutes. I finally got one from a Credit Union, because the nice teller remembered that I had asked about it the week before. She told me it was the first one she had even seen.

I have already gotten my 3 packs from the mint, but its nice to have some that you can actually "touch".

Yes, exactly, that what my excitement about.
Unlike PM NCLT these are "touchable".

Silveroid, I agree 100%, I like to have a few commen circulation coins I can handle and play with. I'm a very tactile person. It's very not taking top of silver coins in capsule. It's stressful at times worrying about keeping coins pristine. It almost ruins the enjoyment for me.

It's taken a long time to adjust to not handling coins with bare hands, after decades of handling raw business strike coins.

hello

I received my 15 pieces of the MRC and I'd like your comments on the border beyond banner because 15 pieces are identical.

On the edge of the banner at the bottom of the reverse, there are three places where it is missing a piece of the border. For all around the edge thereof is raised.

Notice on the right side of the photo below, we see pretty much the edge of this piece of trim that is gone, that is the separation angle.

In addition to the substance of these three places is frosted ?

For me it is a defect on the die.

Does your pieces are the same ?

Otherwise I'll have to find me without this default if this is the case.

Thank you for your help.

Castor, I believe it was mentioned earlier that people were worried that the edges were going to be an issue with this coin, I believe this is just die issues. I will double check with the ones I have, but I noticed rough edges on the mint packages ones.
