I came across this Morgan over the weekend. I am fairly certain it is a VAM 20, I would just like to have some of the experts weigh in just in case my novice eyes are seeing something different. Also, what value would you put on this Morgan in this condition? Does the VAM attribution add to the value in this grade?

Also, all of these pics were taken with an iPhone, some through a loupe, so the quality is a bit lacking. I thank you for your opinions!

Pics are bad but it appears to be a VAM-20. VAM 18, 19 & 20 share the same obverse. 19 & 20 are often confused. The PUP for your pics is the 3rd one down that shows the upper left wreath with a single berry and split leaf. Here is a good link to differentiate:

Yes the V20 will have a premium over the V 19 & V20 when considering Mint State Coins.

This coin is a details coin; has been cleaned and is pretty beat up.

If you have not already purchased it don't.

Sorry about the poor pics. I thought the pup for this would be fairly obvious despite the quality of the pics. I purchased this coin over the weekend just as a cheap 8TF. I didn't attempt to attribute the VAM until this morning and was surprised to see that it seemed to match a rarer VAM. I only paid $28 for it.

The page you linked to was the exact page I used to help me identify it. I just like to have the experts weigh in to double-check that I'm looking at it right.

It has been cleaned, but no overly harsh and it is fairly dinged up, but in hand it is not too distracting. I've seen worse in problem free holders. So, in this condition, this VAM will not carry a premium?

No premium, but at $28 I'm buying every one I can get.

When Mint state examples of VAM 20 are so readily available, it ain't hard to pass up on a circulated example, even at $28. I've got a PCGS-62 and a PCGS-63 right now that no one has been willing to pay any premium for.
