Not interested what you paid but rather want to see what you consider worth spending money on and seeing some nice coins. Please note that I am talking about the money spent and not the value. Apart from a couple of Krugerrands (which I bought only for the gold and at gold value) the coin I spent most money on is https://goccf.com/t/188098 and for the Roman coins it is: Antoninianus of Florian (276) from Cyzicus - Sear(ME)#11853 / RIC#116

Was wondering how many Caesars would pop up (Btw, I don't have one [yet?].)

This coin isn't really what people think of when they hear "Roman" - it's a provincial from the Republican era. I don't think it counts as Roman at all, honestly. It is, however, the only way I could avoid posting the twenty-something coins that would be tied for first otherwise (blame that one bargain bin that I get most of my ancients from). Antioch civic issue, under Roman rule, early 1st century BC (date off flan)

This is probably the one I paid the most for. And this is the one I got in trade for the most money.

I'd have to dig through digital records or scraps of paper to remember which of these was the most expensive. They were fairly close in price but I think the sestertius is my most expensive Roman coin. My most expensive a most loved ancient coin is a Greek though :) Nero (54-68 AD) struck in Rome, 63 ADOrichalcum sestertius, 34 mm, 26.7 gm Obv: NERO CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG GERM P M TR P IMP PP; laureate head right, wearing aegis Rev: ANNONA AVGVSTI CERES; Ceres, veiled and draped, seated left, holding corn ears and torch, her feet on stool, facing Annona standing right, holding cornucopia; between them, modius on garlanded altar; in background, stern of ship Ref: RIC 98. Cohen 24 Heritage, CICF World and Ancient Coin Signature Auction, Apr 2014 Septimius Severus Rome, AD 206AR denarius, 3.41 gm, 20 mm, 12h Obv: SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right Rev: LAETITIA TEMPORVM, the spina of the Circus Maximus decorated as a ship facing left, with the turning posts at its prow and stern, a sail mounted on the central obelisk, and the spina's other monuments visible in between; above the ship, four quadrigas racing left; below, seven animals: an ostrich at left and a bear at right; between them a lion and a lioness chasing a wild ***[name of animal automatically and hilariously censored to a four letter word meaning a person's derriere instead of the contextually inoffensive and correct name of the animal, so I have censored the censorship ] and a panther attacking a bison Ref: RIC 274; BMC 343. Privately acquired August 2014 ex Colosseo Collection ex Roma Numismatics, Auction VII, lot 1108

My highest paid Roman is also a Macedonian provincial. It's a 'Thasian' type tetradrachm.
