Yes Silveroid you are correct, and I exaggerated somewhat on the future sales price, as it is low mintage and special high relief, but I bought a high relief 2012 Kookaburra on CA for $65 regular $99, right now the 2012 Three Wise Men with Swarovski Crystal is on sale for $59.50 orig $115, so only 2 years down the road and 55%, not as low a mintage as the Lynx but 10,000. So what is the starting price from the mint for the Lynx? I agree if you really want the coin and don't want to wait for it on the secondary market where it may go up, you should order from a rep if you have the opportunity. I prefer to snipe a bargain in the future.

Agree with you, SilverDon With the recent releases all the stuff later comes discounted. The starting price for the Lynx it $149 I assume, it will not be really popular. Something like 2013 and 2014 HR masks. Yeah, it will drop some. Like you, I picked up the 2011 HR Kangaroo for $65 on the CA sale instead $99..... And this coin back in 2011 was quick sold-out with the prices jumped to $110-$120... *My hope, that for the Lynx the UHR will allow the detalization of the animal head, like 2012 Hedgehog and 2014 Manul (Mongolia)

I really like the looks of that Lynx, a great close up and really pops and I bet the high relief will make it that much more appealing. But with silver at $16.14 USD per ounce as I type, I find it hard to justify the price with the true value, I would like to have one for my collection but not at $149, the probability of a windfall if I buy this coin exists but so does the purchase of a 10 ounce bar for $200 CDN, or five foreign bullion coins. Think I would rather the five foreign bullion coins but everyone has a preference.

All the coins now listed on the RCM website. The subscription related coins (like Big Quarter, Cougar...etc) not listed as singles (or might be they hidden there and not appear in the "New" section). All the coins still available an nothing awaiting stock, even the Premium O Canada subscription (mintage : 1500).

The first pic is from shopping channel video, so has Bromberg fingers attached. Second pic is one of my 4 moose. I hope you enjoy. If tilted the right way and light striking it, you can see the texture of the fur. This is one reason I like the color coin. It can show another dimension if done well. Not all color coins do this! The best is when there's balance between color and the plain engraving of the coin. I enjoy a coin where color is used as an accent!! Here's my glow in the dark maple coin. I'm returning it. Here's an example where use of color does nothing for the coin, in my opinion. I didn't cancel fast enough and coin was shipped. For me this coin isn't worth the $105 issue price. I'd rather have the autumn falls coin.

I just got the RMA to return the glow maple Friday I haven't packet it up yet. They sent out the frational set by mistake, it will arrive this week. It will be interesting to see the red coin and the incusing. I just wasn't financially ready for it. Certain coins I wait to order just prior to sell out, especially if I'm undecided!! This will be my first frational set. I will post pics when it arrives, now I've learned how. Somehow I expected more of the maple. Colors are nice, just not stunning, too me. I haven't really tried out the glow feature. I should give it a try, while I have the coin.

@ shopaholic it's spectacular, I want one!! Now to find a bargain one one. Here's my 2015 fractional set, it came yesterday. It was accidently sent out. I was just considering it and my rep must of reserved it. Better timing to buy it would of been closer to Christmas. I had another 2 dr. Appts in Edmonton in end of nov. the trips get pretty expensive, and not the time for a fractional set. I'm in love with the 1 Oz red enamel coin, it's mesmerizing. The incuse design is nice along with the reverse proof. It's my first fractional set. Any money I get for Christmas will go towards it. So enjoy photos, I've tried taking with sunlight hitting the coin.

I excited... So the RCM does able to craft nice and quality coins. The 2015 Canadian Lynx the Ultra High Relief Pure Silver coin (almost 1oz), already posted, but I will repeat it. Waited for this coin and haven't been dissappointed. (also liked the fact, that the coin has a good fit into O Canada box). She (and not "it") expressed interest in the box, so have been pictured:

Thank you, NuMoose Too bad that at the work network some pictures filtered, so I can't see, what you've posted. I wouldn't recommend to try to pull out bubbled wrap, that "cutie-pie" occupied on the picture.
