So I came across this auction site on SixBid but I have no idea if they guarantee the authenticity of the coin since nothing is mentioned on their terms of sale.

The auction is called 51 gallery and no one made any bids on the coins or their items..the starting price is 200 Euros! That's amazing for a coin of this condition..

Thoughts?

I checked the Ancient fake reports and didn't find any match. The coin looks struck and not cast. Unless this is a unrecorded resent fake I think the coin is legit.

Usually a pretty safe place to buy from, though I do find the pictures a little deceiving from time to time. The bidding ends on that coin tomorrow.

Why would it be too good to be true? Its like 220 Euros! Its pedigreed and looks straight. Why do you think this is fake?

Expect the price to go up on this one. I'd doubt that coin will stay at 200 euros.

Can the reputation of the seller be confirmed?
That should be the very first step in a provenance investigation.
Assessment of the coin 'in hand' would be a great help. Is this possible?

All part of due diligence, prior to the purchase of a high value ancient coin.

It looks like there is live bidding for this auction so bidders might not pop out of the woodwork until the bidding actually happens.

It looks like it sold it at a Tradart auction in 1992. Maybe you can find an online copy of the auction catalog. I believe this is Tradart's website if that helps: http://tradart.ch/en/index.html

Expect the hammer to be much higher. The last 51 Gallery auction brought extremely strong prices during live bidding.

So I was watching the live bidding..
Right before they were about to auction the coin, I placed my bid of 250 Euros in shock as to how no one else was bidding on that item.
During that lot, it went all quiet with my bid being the highest, and then all of a sudden someone quickly outbid me by 2500 Euros....
What a fail on my part hahahah
