My first order had consecutive numbers. I have not received my second order (shows backlogged currently) so I don't know about the second set.

My first two Sets have numbers *****089 and *****091, so not quite sequential....

Randomly consecutive  My 1st order of 10 had 2 groups of 5 that were consecutive but the groups were separated by thousands. ..and yes, the back-of-the-bus 12/4 orders are finally getting processed and most likely will ship today or tomorrow...    |

However with only 50K sets, I think these sets will hold a higher premium than the 2013 West Point ASE set after its first year. MCM wants $99 for a SP69 NA coin with free GEM Note. Percentage wise no argument vs the 2013 WP set and that's because this started at $13.95 (minus a buck) vs $139.95.. The raw WP sets are selling BELOW that price now. Graded 70 sets are doing better. The C & C set is presently up 150% over issue price... 2014 NGC SP69's are all over the place and go for $59-82. It will take a while for this market to stabilize but I can see the $65-70's as a resting place...and lookout for those SP70's that will appear infrequently....not many of those around Edited by Foxwoods Man

Just a question - if my delivery of these sets ships from the US Mint before the cut-off date for ER designation (Dec24), can the sealed box be submitted to NGC anytime thereafter? I saw that sealed boxes sell for more on ebay than opened ones, so from a long-term investment perspective keeping the boxes sealed would make it more lucrative (obviously running the risk that the shipment center messed up the order)... |

I ordered four sets on 12/11. The status ..I think went from back ordered
to shipped in same day.
When I check the FedEx tracking number it shows accepted on 12/11 and shipped on 12/12. There has been no other update since that update.
On other orders I would have the package by now ....
Did anyone else order on 12/11 ...if so .. did you get your package?

They have to RECEIVE them by 12/24. Sealed boxes are for PCGS which goes by shipped from the Mint date....and they announced 12/31 as their FS cutoff date (if you want to pay $18 additional over grading fees for the words "First Strike" to be added to the label.) NGC $20 for the whole shabang.... |

OK, either way it seems like a waste of money, given that the grading costs are higher than the cost of the set (and that doesn't even include shipping charges each way!).
BUT, I'll leave them in sealed boxes - if it comes to parting with them one day they may go for more.

I just received my other three 2014 C&C Sets today, and the $1 note numbers are sequential this time. (******63, 64 and 65)  They were ordered on Dec. 10th, shipped on the 11th and got here today (the 17th). Edited by DNA
