just reading a old article from fake expert Mike Marshall.

I email this back to ebay and told them so many fakes on the site.

Here the article.

Sadly, little has changed. If anything, it's gotten worse.

Interesting, I didn't know that newfoundland coins were legal tender and are a federal deal....

Thanks for sharing.

The other sad thing is that RCMP Sgt Tony is no longer involved with the coins and counterfeits. He was transfered and someone with less interest has taken over. Mike M is a friend

Everyday the battle continues on. I lost some ground with the loss of Sgt.F., however the biggest blow was delt by the moron who is now the pres. of the RCNA. His decisions surrounding Sgt. F's posting and his head being lodged so far up the mints exhaust pipe have removed the battle from the front page by both the RCMP and the RCM. I have made some great strides again with ebay and will provide more details shortly.
Thanks for the B'day wish Randy!

I see this so often over the years (locally, regionally and nationally) and it bothers me to no end

Didn't ebay cancel some kind of counterfeit advisory group earlier this year? There was a thread on this forum about it (perhaps in main?) but I can't find it.

Good to hear that you are still swinging for the fences Mike...

Indeed I do Mike... it was nice to be able to see Gordon Lightfoot play last month, even though his pipes aren't what they used to be... right now, my new favourite Lightfoot song is the Canadian Railroad Trilogy.

^^ I loved Gordon live. You are right that his pipes aren't what they used to be, but isn't he turning 80 this year? I'ma big fan of "wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald", but Canadian Railroad Trilogy will always be in my top three.
