It's hard to see in these pictures taken with a phone but there is a layer of thin dirt on this coin but in lower lighting when you rock the coin back and fourth there is definitely beautiful cartwheel luster under the film.in hand I think it just makes au 50 but I agree from the pics your seeing ef 40 to 45. As stated earlier it is nice to see a border line au that's natural I just saw a bunch on ebay that were clearly ef that were dipped and one sold for like $700 and was machine polished. So bad if you asked someone 1 week in the hobby they would point it out. Guess the buyer had less than a weeks experience.
