@CC2012,
That's awesome! Were those straight up gifts or did you pick them out?

The notes, the Morgan, and the foreign coins were part of a small accumulation of coins and notes by my grandpa. My parents ordered the Kennedy half set from the mint the day it was released, and I picked out the quarters and the Boy Scouts Dollar.

The only coins I got for Christmas were from my Secret Santa Mike. Funny how he knew what I would like.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
My sister got me some Canadian error pennies. My brother got me a large Plotemy coin, but it hasn't come in yet. My dad gave me to $25 to spend at my local coin shop during their Boxing Day sale.
I'm really happy with what I got. I'm also celebrating the first anniversary of the start of my collection :D.
I look forward to seeing all the coins posted.

I got a large Canadian $2 coin. See how big it is compared to a regular one. I think it is mint - mint flavoured chocolate that is. I also got a silver non circulating - all from my son.
