This looks like the start of a Cud blocking the p. The area is slightly raised. It's a 1920.

I couldn't get my camera to pick it up but it's raised in that area.

May be a lamination that folded over in that area. There's too much noise in your pics for me to tell.

The mark to the left of the "L" on PLURIBUS is a well placed bag mark from another coin. I agree with a Struck Through Grease error on the "P".

Because the metal was pushed during the contact. Note on the right side of the area in question. You can see where it indented and pushed to the left to make it raised in that area?
