Lets start with the present continuous.
Lakes are leaking.
Bears are flying (some call it ascending).
Explorers are exploring. Though it looks like they're just building a railroad.
Banks are mmmm... lets say taking notes.

Part II - Collections

Do you remember colourized Polar Bear, Caribou, Moose, Beaver? Chinese New Year is coming to you!
Do you remember several 4-coin mini series? Bald Eagle, Bison, White-Tailed Deer? Well, the hunt is over! Its fishing time!

To be continued...

Good topic, nice theme prior SDs and new Toonies will appear "in hand".

How the Bears are flying is possible to see already now on the CA website. For my taste, this coin a bit funny.

No beaver? How it is possible?

Just received a notice from mint January 20th they will announce an innovative way to display and showcase (there is an image of the front of a canoe on a lake)

I am not sure if the mint is going to be in the display business now, or if they are going to be revising packaging?

nope, just the ambiguous shot of the front of a canoe on a lake, maybe they are making canoe shaped display cases?

Hope, the mint finally invented wooden cases as stand-alone accessory for 38mm, 34mm and SD coins.

There seems to be a mystery in the e-mail.

"Sneak Peak!

Keep an eye on your inbox! More details will be unveiled on January 20th, 2015.

Paddle towards a new and innovative way to display and showcase..."

So why use the word 'peak'? Is that an error (grammatically it should be 'peek') or is it a clue?

Why 'paddle'? What does that mean? Is that another clue?

hmmm...mysterious RCMers...
"Paddle" means paddling while situated in a canoe...up some river until you reach the "peak" like the voyageurs imaged on silver dollars - (a display box shaped like a canoe...likely...and hopefully made of wood...not cardboard)

My best guess it could be the case/box for display the Canada silver dollars. Direct association with canoe/paddling.

And maybe the return of variety (or NCLT) of "Vintage silver dollars 6 coin set".

All it means is that they have come up with a "new way" which translates "cheaper for them to make/buy " which translates into more profit, all they need to do is make you and I believe its a "better way" .

I am guessing all those maroon clam shells cost a bundle considering how many coins they make in the run of a year that use them.

Then again I could be completely "wrong"

i don't believe they will release a display case for your silver dollars, it makes no sense as they do not sell them in singles or in a version that would require a display case.

whatever case they are offering will be something to display current and future coins, this you can take to the bank.. no pun intended..

I would love to see RCM use specialized cases for certain themes.

Half dollars will roll in March or April.

And the "Sneak Peak" might be related to the Canoe paddling on the 2015 Pan Am games....just new coin in the unusual package or case.

It has to be the "hit" whatever will be.
By this way - secret hint announcement, RCM marks and pre-defines their hot coins.

Last announcements:
"Golden opportunity" = BoC gold coins
"Last Million Pennies" = Penny rolls
"Celebrate 75 years" = Superman coins series#1
"Collection" = Glass Creatures Gold coins set

and of cause the "Ballet" coin - all these were announced in advance and became great items. Good RCM marketing and mind-control technique.
That could explain why Superman series#2 hadn't such success.

Now the question: where and how many to buy?
