Here is one that had me working a while to finally nail it..The RP in the 5 had me looking in the wrong places. Only when I studied all of the fine OBV markers was I able to get it right. PC59-801 with a die pairing of 80+P18..Haxby doesn't show any "obv die clash" pics on this pairing ...(yet).. ...and some interesting bead and letter doubling on both sides throughout.. Very heavy die clash on the obv. showing very well around the legend on this nicely graded cent.. . .

"Dev" to my buddies here...if they really want to get it right....Right ! ...and to your question...Yes..!I should have started with the 59's..etc.. back in my early coin days ie..the 60's.. But in retirement, is does allow me to search out the proper ID's from the Haxby site (Woo..HOO.. !!) .... a few 100 more 59's to find and then I move on to Rob's 1858's . That should keep me occupied for "at least" the next few decades..

Yes, you got one. It's my coin in the 65th edition Charlton. One of my favorites.

What's the embossing around the legend? Do you mean the denticles? How did you get something like that down in NZ?
